Overview

Milk produced a profile of Sheikh Abdullatif Al Fozan: a comprehensive, documented account of his contributions to community service and Islamic values, made to support his nomination for the King Faisal Prize.

The profile addresses the prize selection committee, organisations working in social responsibility and charity, and the general public, especially visitors to the website. It aims to honour his career, show his positive influence and recognise his achievements locally and internationally.

The challenge

The challenge was to weave together the partnerships and collaborations through which he uplifts communities and embodies Islamic principles, and to present his contributions in a way that holds the reader while reflecting his genuine humility.

The content focused on the projects that extend his influence within the Muslim community, addressing readers through engaging subheadings and a lively structure. The profile was written entirely in Arabic so that it speaks to its readers and conveys Islamic values and his journey.

The solution

The design drew on the beauty of Islamic art and authentic Arabic calligraphy to build a visual story that resonates with the community. Each element was made to reflect the richness of Islamic heritage.

The colour palette combines traditional hues with modern accents, giving the profile an inspiring and appealing character. Vibrant illustrations and unique stamps add depth and highlight themes of community and service.

Smart printing techniques such as embossing improved the tactile experience by adding texture, and high-quality, sustainable materials gave a premium finish that reflects community values. Charts and graphs were designed to sit seamlessly within the artistic layout, informative and visually engaging at once.

Conclusion

The project blends Islamic art and Arabic calligraphy into a clear visual story, built on rich illustrations and tactile elements that connect with the community. The profile becomes a living celebration of Islamic values and a tribute to Sheikh Abdullatif Al Fozan's journey.
